January

Is anyone else relieved that January is over? To me its just the most, blah month of all. I’m more than ready to move into February and hopefully soon, Spring! But despite the cold, it was a good month. Here’s what I’ve been up to lately.

january recap

Eating::: I’ve been all about the breakfast food this month. I’ve been making lots of Kodiak Cakes with bacon and also Ezekiel English muffin breakfast sandwiches with ham and cheese.

Reading::: The Girl on the Train. It was so good! It’s been compared to Gone Girl a lot and it definitely has some similarities. Its told from the perspective of three different characters working in both past and present tense. The pieces gradually fall into place leading up to an explosive ending.

Diffusing::: Melrose. Its a combination of tea tree, rosemary and clove. Its my favorite oil to use on my face, but I’ve been diffusing it lately for air purification as well.

Pinning::: Garden things. I can’t believe its already time to start planning the garden and even start some seeds. I’m planning on doing my container garden again, but may also have a small plot in the backyard if I can have it ready in time. I’m beyond ready for rainy, warm spring weather and things to start blooming!

Anticipating::: I’ve been anticipating this one for a while, but I’m heading to Austin later this month. If you have any suggestions for places to eat/things to do there, let me know!

Blogging::: In January, I told you about my big goal for 2015, shared an easy and clean crockpot lasagna recipe and shared an update on that big goal

Creating::: I’m currently working on an essential oil recipe that will make your shower better and a yummy breakfast recipe.

Tell me, what have you been reading, pinning and anticipating in the last month?
