Happy January! How’s 2015 treating y’all so far? Other than it being unbearably cold here, this year’s going pretty well…. all five days of it. Let’s take a look back at December though.

In December I was…

Eating::Pinch of Yum’s sausage potato pie. I made this for Christmas brunch and it was a huge hit! It has only six ingredients and is really easy to whip up. I’ll be making it again soon.

Reading::: 100 Days of Real Food Cookbook! Lisa’s blog was the first blog I actively followed and was a huge inspiration in my real food journey. I was so excited to finally buy her cookbook and discover some simple new real food recipes.

Diffusing::: Christmas Spirit! I’ve been waiting for this festive blend of orange, cinnamon and spruce to come back in stock FOREVER! Even though Christmas is over, I think its still a fitting winter scent

Pinning::: Lots of clean recipes. I was just looking over my clean recipe board and noticed a definite potato theme. Mashed potatoes, potato soup, fries….

Anticipating::: A short trip to Austin in February. I can’t wait to escape the cold!

Creating::: I’m working on a couple recipes and some essential oil creations. I’m dying to get back in the kitchen and back to posting more regularly!

What have you been up to in the last month?

I love those stars! I bet they added such a great warmth to your room. I still am having a hard time believing it’s 2015. After 5 days of cold, I’m ready for warmer ready:) Stay warm and hope you’re having a great day!

I miss them now that Christmas is gone. I need to go shopping for some bright new decor, the house always feels so bare after the Christmas decorations.
